Haiku And Then Some For The Masses

“Haiku” is a Japanese art form that writes 3-line poems according to some established formulae.

My version of Haiku is going to be a 3 to 5-line poem that has no basis in any kind of formulae.  My version is to be loved or left and is beyond the critical eye because it does not adhere to anybody’s idea of a stuffy old tradition.

A gurgling sparkling creek …
A water snake slithers off the bank,
And swims gracefully across,
Searching for someone to bite,
Or something to eat.

There you go, folks! I have now established a new literary form.

You are witnessing history in the making. Snark! LOL.
