The strange case of common bacon

There are some experts on everything who inform us that common, ordinary bacon — the kind you fry crisply to go with your morning eggs —– affects the human brain in exactly the same way that cocaine and heroin does. It overloads the pleasure centers of the brain and causes those who eat it to require ever greater amounts of it in order to be satisfied. I think this might be one of the reasons why a person who starts out eating two strips of bacon with their eggs every morning eventually faces the chance of consuming 6 or more slices at the same meal.
